I’m thinking of asking my dentist about them when I go for my next cleaning. Do you know if they work well and how much they cost? I think my teeth have gotten crooked over the recent years, since I’ve decided to keep my wisdom teeth. Thanks for any info.

I plan on going to the local college here for the 1 year course. Iv’e been a stay at home mom for 10 years, i figure i should go ahead and get out there.

I just got my metal braces off and I now have Invisalign to use as a retainer. I want to whiten my teeth a little more so I’ve bought some whitening strips. Will the chemicals from the strips left on my teeth hurt or discolor the Invisalign when I put my retainer back in after I’ve finished with the strips?

I’m 35 and want braces. When I went for my consult I was told I had so much going on in my mouth that I might need some type of surgical work done before I put braces on. I have a missing tooth in the upper front of my mouth that have been missing since I was 8yrs old so all my teeth are going all over the place. I ask if insurance would cover the surgical part, if I ended up needing it and she said no. I’m so ready to feel good about myself and I know I can’t pay for anything surgical. I don’t have money like that. I’m a single mother of three. I don’t want to give up because I need to do this for me. Can anyone give me some advice or is there any dentist that can do some pro bono work to help me out, please. I have lived like this for 27yrs and it hurts. Thanks and have a bless day.

I go in tomorrow to have impressions made for Invisalign braces and my brother told me some chick at his work has them and they hurt like hell all day everyday! Is this true or is it manageable?

I just got braces on my top row of teeth(a week ago), and I was supposed to get them on the bottom, but I have a deep overbite so my orthodontist said that we’d put those on once the teeth shifted around a bit, later. How long is “later” exactly?

If I go to a Manhattan ortho vs. a Brooklyn ortho or a Premier provider vs. non-Premier, is there a difference in cost?
