I Have completed Phase 1 of orthodontics and with an expander, braces, and a retainer. I have four gaps in my upper jaw still, one of them being between my two front teeth. I have to option of getting a full set of braces on both jaws for about a year or I could get a retainer plus veneers on my canines. My teeth are in good shape; this procedure would be just for cosmetics, not for functions.

I’m just curious. I plan on getting braces soon, and my insurance covers 2,000.00 towards a set of braces. How much is the average cost? OR How much did you pay for your set?

So Im 5 days in to my 1st tray and am finding that with all the brushing and rinsing going on throughout the day I am getting a dry mouth and not so nice breath.
So my question is can I suck on a sugar free mint while I have them in? Also do you think that some of that fresh breath spray (that is sugar free) might be ok to use?

took my braces 1 month ago and my teeth shifted a bit meanwhile and are not so nice as in the beginning. my dentist saw it today gave me my retainer and told me that maybe next time he will have to do a spinning to the teeth that moved. do you know what it mean?
