Yes, many dental insurances will cover a part of your
orthodontic costs. Beware of the waiting periods for
any ortho work though. There are other plans that
will cover orthodontic work without waiting periods too,

I have had braces since august and it is now June. This hasn’t happened before but all of the sudden they are rubbing up against my cheeks. It doesn’t really hurt very bad, but I’m losing a lot of ‘mouth’. There are large crevices and indents in my cheeks and it’s getting worse. I’ve tried wax and Origel but it doesn’t stop it. HELP!

we would know and you would see the changes.
usually we have a reference, that is the old picture and old model of your teeth, with there we compare, then we compare your teeth to the standard set of teeth, if your teeth falls on th standard set then we could take off the braces.
however before doing so, the repositioned teeth should be evaluated through xray if they had already integrated with the bones of the alveolar socket via periodontium. In simplier word we should asses with the x ray if the teeth that is in proper position had a well developed bone to support it when the brakets are removed.
