I am going to get braces soon, probably with in the next two months. I got some questions. What do dentists do to put on the braces? How long does the procedure take? Does it hurt? What are good colors for the braces? Once, the braces are on, what kinds of food should i stay away from? I have also heard about the rubber bands, what is that for? thanks for your help in advance and you can also give me more info if you like.

Does anybody know if Dental and Orthodontics schools have a program where their student will perform lower jaw surgery for free or a discounted rate?

I am 26 years old. I have dental insurance that will pay for 75% if I get braces. How much do braces cost?

I’ve got invisalign braces and would like to use bleaching gel to whiten my teeth. Normally it comes with custom fit trays, but I figure invisaligns would work just as well. It will save me a bunch of money to just buy the whitening gel. Can I?

I’m now a 17 year old male and had my braces removed very recently. Before braces I had a very slight overbite and had to get two teeth pulled from my upper jaw. To cover the spaces the upper and lower jaws had to be pushed back over the course of two years. Upon completion i noticed that my lower jaw is not level with the upper, but smaller. Also my upper lip became more prominent. Can this perhaps be due to the orthodontics treatment? Or is it just facial development with age?

im getting braces soon and im wondering….
braces come in different colors right well like could i have like blue braces and then get them changed to like glow in the dark and then to like red?? or do i have to get a set of just all glow in the dark and not able to get them changed to like yellow?

im getting braces pretty soon, and i just need some advice on what color i should get. I want the color that is the least noticeable, something that doesn’t draw everyone’s attention. i think your skin tone is kind of important on choosing such a color, so maybe you guys can help me out. i have medium brown indian skin, and dark brown hair and brown eyes. any suggestions?

I am 11 and I don’t want to use braces because I would feel uncomfortable about my teeth so can invisalign also work forr 11 year olds? My mouth size is small and my height is about 4″11 if that helps please tell me Thanks
