i get braces tomorrow and i hear some of my friends say it hurts and some say it doesn’t.i know it probebly doesn’t.i have to get herps appliance too.and will they ask you if you want colors or do you have to ask them?thanks alot you guys!!!!
Well, both times I got braces it didn’t hurt when I got them on at the dentist office, it just hurt for a couple of days after getting them since their new and they feel weird and uncomfortable. It really doesn’t hurt at all when you get them they just put them on you, it may just hurt once or twice. After you get them on, they will hurt so just try to eat soft foods. (that’s what i did!) I’m not sure what herps appliance is.But anyways every time you visit the dentist office (probably once a month) they will most likely ask you to pick a color, since they have to change it every time. So you will probably really never need to ask them. Also, once you get your braces they will give you a bag with a waxy type of thing if a brace is bothering you, a small type of toothbrush, and many other things….hope this helped…good luck!
i just got braces today! they took my spacers off. no i does not hurt. in fact, even when i got home, they didn’t hurt. it just felt a little uncomfortable, and it’s kind of hard to move my lips over them. but i was able to eat lunch. but it’s been some time, and my teeth are starting to feel weak, and it hurts when i bite. i think i’ll have to eat soft foods for dinner. and yes, they asked what color i wanted.
for me they didnt hurt to get them on, tht night i ate solid foood. but they feel kinda sore after their tightened but its not THAT bad. they asked me if i wanted colors
opinions can’t tell you your pain tolerance….are u tough when it comes to pain or a complete suck
