What high school education is needed to become an orthodontist? what classes do you need to do good in, and why is biology such an important class to become an orthodontist?

Highschool science and math are probably most relevant but don’t discount any other courses as they will help you become a well rounded person. You still need to attend college and get into dental school to become an orthodontist.
take chemistries and math as this is the only part of your field that you will be worried about once you pass your basics at college

There are no requiired classes in high school to become an orthodontist. You need to do well in high school and take college prep classes in order to get into a good college. You can major in any number of areas in college to become an orthodontist, but you do need to make sure you are taking as many science courses as you can. Then you apply to medical school to become an orthodontist. Biology is necessary because an orthodontist is a doctor and biology is one of the subjects that is basic to understanding the human body.
