I am Using P-gal4 mediated enhncer trap system to Identify genes exprssed in drosophila devlopment. I am using the self ligated Plasmids with P-Gal4 along with Few genomic sequences.

I went to a dentist to put braces on my teeth. They asked me to pay about 3000 dollars. It was expensive. So, I want to get a dental insurance for my braces… Can you help me? I live in Texas by the way.

I’m planning on getting braces in a few weeks. What kind of questions should I ask the Orthodontist? I’m putting my teeth in their hands, I want to make everything’ll turn out ok.

I used to wear braces, but accidentally threw out the retainers soon after I had them removed. My teeth have gone crooked again and I can’t afford braces (as well as a lot of other dental work I need to the point I NEVER smile with an open mouth). Is there something I can do like tighten a wire around my teeth every night that could kind of at least make a difference and straighten my teeth a little?

I have 3 impacted teeth that will need to be surgically removed (I had one removed years ago). This leaves me with 4 baby teeth that aren’t going to last forever. Is it possible to get invisalign after getting dental implants or are those implants secure forever? I want Invisalign, but I don’t want to have any missing teeth.

I’ve had a brace (standard self-ligating Damon brace) on my top teeth for a week and a half how. Because my teeth are moving around, I’m adjusting to the bite. On most of my teeth, when the tooth has pressure on it, there’s a slight, painless cracking sensation at the top of the teeth.
The conclusion I’ve came to is that it may be the osteoclasts deep at work, and that it’s supposed to happen.
Am I right?

I have just started paying monthly payments to an Orthodontist this year. NJ State allows Medical Expenses to be deducted from State taxes. Are those payments considered Medical Expenses?

Some people have reported that it doesn’t work as well as micro implants. I have deep overbite and I want to find out what would be better to get to treat it. Micro implants look painful and I’m also quite self conscious about how I look I don’t want to look ugly. There have been others who’ve claimed that invisalign worked fine for them when treating deep overbite. So what do I believe?

should i get clear (unfortunately my ortho doesn’t have the self-ligating so i’d be getting the 3m unitek traditional clear braces WITH clear ligatures) or metal? are clear braces really noticeable on crooked, yellow colored teeth?
