Any info on treatment duration, prices and orthodontist recommendations in the Atlanta area will be greatly appreciated

The forms we fill out usually let you fill in 2 plans. What kinds of things do I need to look for in a second plan, and does anyone have first-hand knowledge in the limitations of doing this? I’d appreciate hearing any opinions on this or other ways to try and save money on my two kids’ orthodontic work. Thanks.

So this was my second time getting my braces tightened. But this time the orthodontist had just tightened one tooth. I asked her if she was done and she said yes. Then the main orthodontist, the guy who the building is named after, took a thorough look and said everything was fine. So they know what they’re doing, right? I just wonder why only one tooth was tightened.

I’m a toatle girly girl and im getting braces in 2 days what colors shpoould i avoid and what colors look good if you have really red lips?

To all the people that have or had braces
There’s a new brand of self-ligating braces called Damon braces. I need to get braces soon, and I have a predicament between two orthodontists. Here’s the problem
Ortho 1- Extract top first bicuspids and lower second bicuspids. Lower right bicuspid might have a developing root problem, so its short right now. Flatten top front teeth because its angled outward to fix overbite.Wants to use conventional for 24 months.
Ortho 2- No extractions, wants to slightly flatten the top, but mostly bring the lower teeth/jaw outward to close the overbite. Wants to use Damon for slightly less than 24.
Im going to get my wisdom’s out anyways, and my mom says minus well extract the other four bicuspids. Im fine with that, but she wants to go with the first ortho because he uses the conventional braces. I want to go with the second one because of the Damon braces. My mom thinks the newer ones are fragile, wont get the job done, waste of money, and there’s been no study or research on these types of braces. 10 points to the person who can find researches, studies, or findings that support Damon braces as compared to the old, outdated conventional braces.

My kid needs braces but I don’t want to walk into the orthodontist uneducated. What’s a fair price? How will I know if he’s overservicing or overcharging? How canI pick a good joint from a shonky or rip-off one?

I am winsing with perixiode, but i dont want my teeth to be all yellow and nasty when my braces come off. What can i do to make the glue loose and my teeth super white?
