I am getting braces soon and want to know if these self-ligating braces will stain?

I had spoken to one of their offices where they took my information so that they could send me a credit so that I can get my work finished somewhere else. I called today and was told by the same office that they closed or sold the office. I never received any credit and have unfinished orthodontic work. Is there anything I can do. Please Help. I cannot afford to pay for treatment.

Okay, so i’m 23 and getting braces in two weeks. My orthodontist had four molars (they were bad and capped and filled) removed along with a baby tooth. However, i had to have an oral surgeon remove them and he knew it was for braces. However, i’ve read other places that the surgeon puts a bracket on the adult tooth that is still hiding while your under, but he didn’t do that for me? What is the next option? I dont want to have to go under again, that was not pleasurable!!
?? Help, hardly any time left!

I know that the road to becoming an orthodontist requires many years of schooling and hard work. I am currently in highschool and, upon graduating, plan to head straight off into university. I was wondering if anyone has been down that road or is currently working towards orthodontistry, and if you could fill me in on some of the major requirements and the number of years it all takes. I’m just wondering what I should prepare myself for…I’m getting braces tomorrow for the first time. I’ve been told it hurts when they tighten the braces. True or false? And why?

if i get invisalign i have to wear it for 9 months. if i get porcelain veneers i think i might feel fake. i have a gap that i really don’t like and would like to change since it’s my senior year. can someone help me?

I’m not a candidate for Invisalign because my teeth aren’t quite straight enough. I currently have regular braces, and was wondering if it’s possible to switch to Invisalign some months down the road when my teeth get a bit straighter? Thanks!

can anyone tell me different types of brackets and show me pics of them. my brackets are so weird. they have like a pin holding the wire onto them. they arent self ligating brackets i looked those up and they look nothing like that. they look cheap. i hate them. the pin goes straight up from bottom of the tooth to the top. idk… hard to explain. someone help me please

I guess it’s hard to tell without posting pictures, but I have to remove four bicuspids. They said it would pull back my lips and change my profile, but I’m just wondering how much it will change. I’m also wondering if it will change my appearance from the front. Anyone with experience?
